As I'm writing the Mow Yen's series, I'm learning about the other Pillar Gods. I mean I would be cut off at the knees if I really believed that Yahweh is the only Pillar God or that there's no pantheon. Personally and professionally, I'm interested in seeing others' point of view about the reflection of the Great Mind who is Creator-Thinker-Host.
When I was starting the second decade of my spiritual adventure, I was asked what/who do I mean by God. At the time I hadn't been introduced to other religions or mythologies and I was doubting the truth of Jesus. I know, right. As a storyteller, I understood that stories were altered for the audience and the Jewish-yet-transformed-into-Christians and Gentiles were an audience just as religion is a Human Resource based institution. But, would someone alter Jesus' story? Yes. The story is neither original nor is everything that Yeshua is said have said. When this question was posed to me, I was torn but I answered with my heart anyway. I said, plain and simple, God is All That Is and All That isn't. My definition of God has evolved as I've been initiated, transformed, and elevated. Yet, my question of God hasn't. What about those who believed beyond the three foundational religions of the average citizen? This is the question which has crushed me, strengthen me, and redesigned me. It is the question that led me to the stories of others' religious beliefs and so-called 'myths.' I remember hearing a summary regarding mythology and religion: when all the Shaman of all the nations gathered and told their stories about where we come from, who we are, why we are here, and who is the Creator, everyone agreed theirs was just as wonderful a STORY as everyone else, except the Shaman of Yahweh/Allah/Jehovah; theirs was a wonderful TRUTH to live by or die in a place that isn't in the heart, although the location of the kingdom is. Living like the previous and traditional Shaman of Non-Aboriginal people will get your butt in a lot of trouble as you travel this adventure as a Comparative Mythologist. Keep this little piece of understanding tucked in your bra while you're traveling. Thanks for Listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle
