There is much advice about having an audience. Some say have that one person in mind, while others say write for self. I say, and this is only my opinion, that we renaissance mythologist, born of the mother of comparative mythology must do both. We need to know that we are talking to people who most likely spend their free time reading and digesting mythology, religion, and philosophy. That's important. Yet, we need to be open to the collective thought which is being birth through us. We need to be completely responsible to us but for us by us. Plus, we need to be a little bit responsible to society as a whole.
The world is made up of different religious beliefs (which is really what mythology is) and as such we really need to know where people have been and are at order to lead them where they are trying to go. I have stated many times, mythology is the road map to manifestation of a new story and new directions for all people. This means that we don't just explain concepts we make them, and we need to know who we are making these new concepts for. Which takes a lot of confidence not in our own imagination but in the combination of what we've been gifted with and the forethought of the Unnamed, Unseen, Unlimited Creator. To state that we have such confidence, not with our words but with our creations, says a lot about us. Knowing that we are the old kids on the new block, will take us far. We are more likely to listen to the muses which whispers guidance and steady our hands as we sculpt new masterpieces. Now there are going to be people that we will not be able to communicate with, no matter what. I'm talking about the far reaching people whether they be right or left. Presenting our new instruction to a wide audience just ain't going to cut it. We are not rock stars and we will never be one, so if you plan on becoming so filthy rich you can't stand it then think again. We are the way showers, the tellers of the new style, and the new living waters. So, take all the consequences of this game like a grown ass adult. This is a big task and many people are going to be afraid of our boat rocking at this lifeline; but trust in self, those who came before us, and the true One god- because something somewhere created all this even if it is just a dream. Do not let the opinions and thoughts of being exiled, laughed at, or excommunicated convince you to back down. Stand your ground because life is in constant change and we currently have no idea who we or what we really, really will influence. That's the key. The one person who we are writing for hasn't been born; maybe. The one person is a professor in the making; probably. Or the one person is just a lover of all things religious, mythological, and philosophical; most likely. But anyway, the reader we must have in mind cannot be simple because our work will reflect it. Be brave, stand strong, and know that we will get our day, mythologist. Thanks for Listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle Crow Crew
